Sources We Monitor
Where the information on this site comes from. Every record we publish names its own source; this is the standing list of what gets checked.
What we watch
A summary, not the full register — each entry below is one feed or filing type, and the per-source detail (which jurisdiction, how often it is checked, when it last answered) is not published here yet.
- TDLR industrialized and commercial building plan review filings
- TABC original license and permit applications
- Livingston planning & zoning and city council packets
- Polk County Commissioners Court agendas and minutes
- Onalaska, Corrigan, Goodrich and Seven Oaks city agendas
- TxDOT project and driveway permit information
- Polk County Appraisal District ownership and improvement records
- Texas Comptroller sales-tax permit issuance
- Texas Secretary of State entity filings
- National Weather Service and the Trinity River Authority lake gauge
What a source does and does not prove
A filing is not an opening. A construction registration says somebody has paid for plan review, a sales-tax permit says somebody has registered a business address, and a license application says somebody has applied — none of them says a door is open. Records published from a filing alone are marked as such on the page and say that nobody has spoken to the business.
Every source link on this site is re-checked daily, and a source that stops answering is listed on the operator dashboard rather than quietly dropped.
