Public Meetings
When and where local government meets, with a link to every agenda we can find.
Agendas are posted about 72 hours before a meeting, so on most days most bodies have nothing scheduled yet. That is normal, not missing data. Where a body has no date posted, we show the schedule it normally keeps. No city in Polk County publishes a meeting time with its agendas — city times come from the standing schedule, never from an individual meeting.
Polk County
The Commissioners Court sets the county budget, tax rate, and road and bridge work.
City councils
No Polk County city publishes a time with its agendas, so each card shows the standing schedule instead.

Where this comes from
Collected from 10 sources — the county's CivicClerk portal, each city's own agenda system, and BoardBook for the school districts. 1,192 meetings on file, last checked 2026-09-05.
Every meeting links to the official agenda or minutes. We never reproduce an agenda in place of the source document, and we never state a meeting time a source has not published. Seven Oaks has no website — its agendas are posted at city hall only. Goodrich ISD and Leggett ISD do not publish agendas in any machine-readable form, so they are listed but not yet covered.
