Livingston Farmers Market
A Saturday morning farmers market in Livingston.
Main Street Sip & Shop
An evening of downtown shops staying open late, each one themed. You walk the district rather than attend a venue — participating stores put something on, and the point is the walk between them. Four a year: patriotic in May, white linen in August, Halloween in October, pink for the Friday before Small Business Saturday in November.

Small Business Saturday in Livingston
The national shop-local day, marked here by the downtown merchants. It lands on the Saturday after Thanksgiving wherever you are; in Livingston the Guild and Main Street organize around it, at the end of a month they treat as one long shop-small push.

Polk County Heritage Society's Christmas Train Village
A model train village the Heritage Society sets up inside Good Golly Miss Molly's on North Washington, open most evenings from Thanksgiving weekend to the end of December. It is free, it takes about as long as you want it to, and it is indoors — which on a cold December evening downtown is most of the appeal. The society takes donations at the door.
