List a lease or a spot
Free, for anybody with land or a place in a lease in Polk County. One form, so we do not have to come back with questions.
What gets published, and what does not
Never the location. The listing shows a general area — “north of Livingston off FM 350” — the acreage and the price. There is no address field on this form. You are not advertising your gate to the county, and anybody serious gets directions on the phone.
No photographs. This is the opposite of our rentals page and it is deliberate: a picture of a stand or a food plot is how somebody makes land they do not control look real, and it is the easiest way to identify a property we have just refused to locate.
Two things we insist on
The price. Every listing shows it. “Call for pricing” wastes your time as much as theirs, and a lease without a number gets rung by people who were never going to pay it.
Your relationship to the land. Owner, lease manager, or a member with a spot to fill. All three are welcome and all three are published as given. A hunter reading the page has to be able to tell them apart.
What we do not do
We do not verify who owns or controls the land, hold deposits, write agreements or handle money. The page tells every reader to look the parcel up at the Appraisal District before paying anybody, and that includes yours. A person reads every submission before it appears.
Confirming
Your listing comes down automatically 30 days after you last confirmed it. We email you before it does, with a button — one tap keeps it up for another 30 days, and one tap takes it down the day the spot is filled.
The lease
Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Everything else is optional, but the more you give the fewer calls you take from people who were never a fit.
